Unity asset store free assets10/14/2023 Pro and Enterprise plans have no financial eligibility limits – everyone is eligible. Unity Pro or Unity Enterprise plans are required for businesses with revenue or funding greater than $200K in the last 12 months, and for those who do work with them. If you or your company’s revenue or funding is less than $200K in the last 12 months, you are eligible to use Unity Plus. Students enrolled in an accredited educational institution of legal age to consent to the collection and processing of their personal information (e.g., age 13 in the US, 16 in the EU) are eligible to use the free Unity Student plan. Eligibility for small businesses is based on any revenues or funds raised in the past 12 months. Eligibility for individuals and hobbyists is based on revenues or funds in connection with the use of Unity. When I released some models on the asset store for sale I specifically included that they can additionally be used for making video content or screen shots.Individuals, hobbyists and small businesses that have less than $100K of revenue or funds raised in the prior 12 months are eligible to use Unity Personal. For example, a strict reading of Appendix 1 section 2.2.1 could be interpreted as not allowing for assets to be used in trailer videos for a game which includes the assets, since the license only allows for use in games or interactive media, and a video is neither. Non-restricted assets can also have some additional terms, but they can only be less restrictive than the Unity license. If you don't see anything mentioning that, then you are safe to assume the regular license is in full effect, which allows for commercial use in completed builds. "Restricted Assets" are the ones that can have restrictions on commercial use, but it should be clear before downloading the asset that what you're getting is a Restricted Asset. All assets from the store, including free assets, are covered by the same license.
